Kuala Lumpur or K.L is the capital of Malaysia, a country located in the Southeast Asian region. Kuala Lumpur when translated can mean muddy city, muddy influence or muddy estuary. The Parliament of Malaysia seats on this city. The Istana Negara, which is the official residence of the Malaysian king, also seats in Kuala Lumpur. Being the primate city, K.L is indeed the cultural and economic centre. The Klang Valley characterizes Kuala Lumpur. Titiwangsa Mountains bounds Kuala Lumpur in the east and a number of minor ranges border the north and south. In the west, the Strait of Malacca borders K.L.

This is the Malaysian version of the New York Twin Towers. The Petronas Twin Towers stand at 452 meters and have 88 floors on each tower. The towers have a glass and steel exterior, which never fails to attract tourists. For science buff, your visit to Kuala Lumpur will be all worth it if you visit the Petrosains. This science and discovery center will surely blow your minds away. Petrosains is more than just an exhibit it is an interactive exhibit. Visit the different sections and learn science more about science. For marine enthusiast the Aquaria KLCC is the perfect place to visit. The Aquaria KLCC is an excellent gigantic museum that houses thousands of underwater species. The highlight of this place is the mini replica of the ocean where visitors can view daily feedings through large acrylic window.

Business Hours
Each place has its own schedule. Some places close early while others close late. To help you plan your tour for the day efficiently here are the business hours of each must visit attraction in Kuala Lumpur. The Petronas Twin Towers is open everyday Mondays to Fridays. You can visit the tower any time you want. The Petrosains on the other hand stays closed on Mondays but is open for the rest of the week. Opening hours are Tuesday – Friday 09:30am – 5:30pm (last admission 4:00pm), Saturday, Sunday & Public Holiday 09:30am – 06:30pm (last admission 5:00pm). For the Aquaria KLCC, it is open daily from 11:00 in the morning to 8:00 in the evening, last ticket sale and admission is at 7:00 in the evening.
